The company that developed the medical device GONDOLA.® for the motor rehabilitation of Parkinson's patients, won the first edition of StartCup Ticino, the event established to reward the best business idea in the canton of Italian-speaking Switzerland.
GONDOLA® was selected from as many as 73 projects entered, and was awarded a check for 50,000 CHF.
“We are particularly pleased with this win, especially since it comes in a competition with many other excellent ideas,” said Francesco Cecchini Manara, the company's founder, “The award represents further confirmation of the validity and innovation of our discovery and will allow us to fund additional clinical trials, beyond those already conducted, to further validate the therapy at the scientific level as well.”.
